3 tan^2x-1=0

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

tan^2x=1/3 tanx=+-1/sqrt3 so tan = 1/saqrt3 ---->x=30 +k pi tan =-1/sqrt3 ----->x=-30+k pi

i got these as answers π/12, 5π/12, 7π/12, 11π/12, 13π/12, 17π/12, 19π/12, and 23π/12 radians.

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

oh sorry i forgot tan 2x tan^2x=1/3 tan2x=+-1/sqrt3 so tan = 1/saqrt3 ---->2x=30 +k pi---->x=pi/12+k pi/2 tan =-1/sqrt3 ----->2x=-30+k pi---->x=-pi/12+kpi/2
