Which of the following represents a set of integers greater than zero? {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} {1, 2, 3, …, 98, 99, 100} {all positive numbers} {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …}

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You need a set of _all_ positive intergers. Look at each choice: A is only 5 integers. B is only 100 integers C is all positive numbers, which means 1/3, sqrt(2), etc. (non-integers) are included D is all integers starting with 1 and going on forever Can you figure out which choice is the correct one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so d ?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The question is " a set of integers" not a set of _all_ integers, so A, B and D are good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i only need one .

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Then again the question asks "Which of the following represents..." with "represents" being singular, so if it wants a single choice, I'd go with D.
