You need to calculate cost per load for the two boxes. The 5-lb box costs $3.50 and washes 20 loads: $3.50/ 20 loads = $0.175/load The 15-lb box costs $10.00 and washes 60 loads: $10.00/60 loads = 0.167 The amount you save per load is: $0.175 = $0.167 = $0.008 or just under 1 cent.
