bob go away please your spamming is anoying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.)3x + 4y = 24 3x + y = −3 B.)3x + 4y = 24 3x − y = 3 C.)3x − 4y = −24 3x + y = −3 D.)3x − 4y = −24 3x − y = 3

OpenStudy (phi):

one way is find the slope and y-intercepts of each line y= mx + b where m is the slope and b is the intercept once you get the formula, re-arrange into standard form. the y intercept is where the line crosses the y-axis (vertical axis). Read it off the graph. the slope m is the change in y divided by the change in x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would the answer be B?

OpenStudy (phi):

what are the m and b of each line ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=3/4x+6 y=3/1x-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind it is B ty for the help

OpenStudy (phi):

y=3/4x+6 y=3/1x-3 looks good. now put into standard from y=3/4x+6 --> add -3/4 x to both sides - 3/4 x +y =6 but standard form wants a positive integer on x, so multiply both sides by -4 3 x -4y = -24 now the 2nd equation. add -3x to both sides -3x + y = -3 make the coeff on x positive by multiplying both sides by -1 3x - y = 3
