For your parent’s 25th wedding anniversary, you want to restore and enlarge their engagement picture. The photo was originally 3 in long by 5 in high. What ratio should you tell the photo restoration shop so that they create an enlargement that is 45 in long by 75 in wide?
i would need to say divide 45 by 3 and 75 by 5 and see what you get
45/3 = 15 75/5 = 15
So would that be 15 by 15
im thinking when they say ratio they mean like 15:1
Yes your write :)) Thanks I have one more though
A regular pentagon has side length 12 cm. The perimeter of the pentagon is 60 cm and the area is 247.7 cm2. A second pentagon has side lengths equal to 18 cm. Find the area of the second pentagon. Round to the nearest tenth.
