Anyone up to help me with math only 2 ?'s
list all the factors of 4 then list all the factors of 6 after that, divide each factor of 6 by each factor of 4, this will list all the possible rational roots
thanks :D
yw
you are correct, there are no rational zeros for 4x^3 - 5x^2 + 9x - 6
okay just double checking and do i do the same process for #2?
no you would follow steps similar to ones shown here http://www.purplemath.com/modules/drofsign.htm
to analyze the type of roots (ie if they're positive, negative, or complex)
thank you so much for actually helping me and not just giving the answer that is how this should be but most of the time you don't learn nothing like that....so thank you :D
you're welcome, glad to be of help
