2x^2+3y^2-8x+6y+5=0 2(x^2-4x+4)+3(y^2+2y+1)=8+3 -5 2(x-2)^2 +3(y+1)^2=6 ((x-2)^2)/3 +((y+1)^2)/2=1

clearly centre is 2,-1 assume x-2=X and y+1=Y and then use the formulas u know with properly translating back the cordinates
