Ph, you mean the realatively complicated fraction. i DOwish textbooks would quit caling these "Complex" fractions. VERY confusing!

Justaket a piece at a time. \(x + \dfrac{4x}{y} = \dfrac{xy}{y} + \dfrac{4x}{y} =\dfrac{xy + 4x}{y}\)
