HELP PLEASE!! Explain how to graph x – 2y = 4 using the x- and y-intercepts method. Be sure to use complete sentences and use the x- and y-intercepts method only.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the x and y intercepts you set x or y = 0. So, for the x intercept set x= 0 \[0-2y=4\] \[y=-2\] So, (0,-2) is the x-intercept. Find the y-intercept the same way. Then you have two points and, as you know, to graph a line you need two points on that line. Hope this helps!
