I'm making a 3D DNA model - simple question? I know how to make it and I've followed the structure and color coding that was given to me by my textbook, however, my strand is too short. I want to make it longer but I'm confused about whether I'm allowed to repeat the pattern again to end up with a longer stand. Any help?

Yeah you're allowed. Real strands of DNA have many base pairs. You already know that A goes with T and G goes with C. As long as you keep that up, you're fine.
