What's the theorem or theorems specifically?
@JamesJ In a volume 'V' surrounded by conductors and containing a specified charge density 'p', the electric field is uniquely determined if the total charge on each conductor is given. This is the statement of 2nd uniqueness theorem. Actually i am confused with the statement itself. Whether the specified volume is enclosed by a conductor or the some conductors having charge are distributed in that volume?
How about this, see slide #22, page 11: http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/physics/8-022-physics-ii-electricity-and-magnetism-fall-2004/lecture-notes/lecture4.pdf
