But... that means the (L) last two numbers multiplied should be -5.
That doesn't leave much options...

multiply a and c

so in your question 7 *(-5) = -35

find the factors of 35 that add to - 2 ....... -7, 5

so them write your binomials as



remove the common factor from the 1st binomial and you'll see it cancels with the denominator
