3ac-2bd-6ad+bc=

OpenStudy (zehanz):

Try to factor it two by two: (first group together terms that have some common factor) 3ac-2bd-6ad+bc= (3ac-6ad) +(bc-2bd) = 3a(c-2d)+b(...... Once you've done this, you'll see yet another way to factor!

THANKS

OpenStudy (zehanz):

BTW, there is no special order: you could also begin with: 3ac-2bd-6ad+bc=(3ac+bc)-(2bd+6ad) as long as you have two terms with a common factor!
