Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation y = −x - 2 using the slope-intercept method? Plot the x-intercept (-10, 0). Plot the y-intercept (0, -2). Draw a line through the two points. Count down 1 and right 5 from the y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure you entered this problem in right? because the x intercept is -2 and the slope is -1 in the problem you posted, so we wouldnt use the first step or the last step

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad it is -1 over 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it is the first part, in slop intercept method, you dont really care about the x-intercept

*slope
