Elaine is taking a test that has multiple choice questions, each with 5 answer choices. She comes to a question for which she does not know the answer. If she can rule out three of the choices as wrong, by how much does she improved her probability of guessing correct answer? SORRY for asking so many math questions i just have 1 more after this .-.

1/5 to 1/2 probably have to subtract.

Directrix (directrix):

@geebear69 The probability of correctly answering one of the 5 option questions by guessing is 1/5. If Elaine knows three of the five options of a question are incorrect, then she knows one of the remaining two may be correct. The probability of selecting the correct answer. Her probability increases by (1/2 - 1/5) or 30%.
