Need help with these two questions: http://gyazo.com/46b93ca6d3b759c2c267864cf62cb845 http://gyazo.com/9a5a246c6ab7148bc28fb5f9fab07779

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

1. Delta y means the change in y. Since the slope = m = change in y/change in x, if the change in y = 0, then 0/x = 0 (as long as the change in x is not zero) 2. If delta x = 0, then you have m = delta y/delta x, but delta x = =, so you have m = delta y/0. Division by zero is undefined.
