how to determine riemann sum?

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Do you have a more specific example? Usually you start by dividing your interval by n: If you interval is [a,b], you start writing \[\Delta x = \frac{b-a}{n}\] You find your right end-point (I think you can take the left endpoint too, but we just used the right endpoint formula): \[c_i=x_i=a+i \Delta x\] Then, you start computing the area using the formula \[Area = \lim_{n->\infty}\sum_{i=1}^{n}f(x_i) \Delta x\]

Do you have an example? Or I could explain it with a simple example

No, thanks for replying.. I got that, just required the formulae.
