Mean

Thank you. Just wait, I have to see what someother person has to say befor I decide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mean is the correct answer. \[\frac{ 8+10+.....+8+10 }{ 10}=8.3\]

Thank you

What is range

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

You can do this "by inspection" as well (or deductive logic? lol): The range is (max - min), since you only have integer values, it cannot be the range. The mode is the most frequent data poin, and all your points are integers, so it can't be the mode. The median in the number in the "middle" of your set. Even if your set has an even # of data points, because they are all integers, you cna either get a number that is an integer or ends in ".5" So, only the mean is possible as an answer (and you didn't have to calculate anything :))
