List the intercept(s) of the the following equation. 9x^2+4y^2=36. Don't know how to work this one out...

For\[9 x^{2} + 4 y^{2} = 36\]intercepts means what are the values where the curve crosses an axis. Let x = 0 then \[4 y^{2} = 36\]\[y^{2} = 9\]so y = 3 or y = -3. Ditto for y = 0 \[9 x^{2} = 36\]\[x^{2} = 4\]so x = 2 or x = -2 |dw:1360034664430:dw|
