A card is randomly drawn from a deck of cards. (There are 52 cards in a deck, with 13 cards of each suit.) You record the following results for the experiment. 28 hearts, 32 clubs, 18 spades, 22 diamonds. (will finish post below)

Which of the following are true? (select all that apply) a. The experimental probability of drawing a club is 32%. b. The theoretical probability of drawing a diamond is 25%. c. Based on the experimental probability, there would be 90 spades drawn in 500 trials. d. Based on the theoretical probability, there would be 120 hearts drawn in 500 trials. Which ones are true? Please help, and I will fan you and give you a medal! Thanks!

Experimental probability here means ( a hint ) 32 clubs out of (28+32+18+22) total cards... theoretical probability means 13 clubs out of 52 ... now work it out :-)

Thanks, but I figured it out, a, b, and c. Thanks anyway! :-)

Yes . that's pretty correct...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the right answer, I also got a, b, and c

I know it is the right answer. So says the answer key.
