OpenStudy (phi):

can you change the fractions to improper fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/3 + x = 23/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X= D if ur trying to get x

OpenStudy (phi):

ok now subtract 4/3 from both sides, like this 4/3 - 4/3 + x= 23/4 -4/3

OpenStudy (phi):

4/3 - 4/3 is 0, so you have x = 23/4 -4/3 I would use 12 as the common denominator

OpenStudy (phi):

@LizzyLove<3 are you sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah if u trun the fractions into decimals, the answer would be D...y?? @phi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 5/12
