I am finding it difficult to get the right hand rule applied to motion of a charged particle in a magnetic field..assuming uniform magnetic field (B) going vertically downward on the plane of the paper how do I get the direction of the Magnetic force when a positive ( As well as a negative charge q) moves with a velocity V ( having two components i.e V vertical and V horizontal) ..pl help.
