HELP finding 4th root!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt[4]{32m^7n^9}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similiar logic to square root...but think of items that are multiplied by itself 4 times...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(32)^(1/4)*(m^(7/4))*(n^(y/4)), your gonna want to put all of these equations in exponential form first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be \[mn^22\sqrt[4]{2m^3n}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

THANKS!

remember when you multiply exponents of the same base you add the exponents, so you would separate this out like that.
