If a white fox's adaption is that the fur turns white during the snowy months, what will be the function? please helpp!

Think about this: in the winter, we see a lot of snow. What color is snow? It's white. Now, if a fox's fur turns white, in the winter, and snow is ALSO white, the fox would be hard to see. Its color would blend in with the snow. Does that make sense? And when organisms are able to blend into their environment, so that they're harder to see, we call it CAMOUFLAGE. The fox probably turns white in the winter, so that it's harder for predators to see, and catch it.

Naw dude the snow fox makes the snow that's why it's white.
