OK last question: If a human's adaption is opposable thumbs, what will the function??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An "opposable thumb" is a thumb that can be placed opposite to all the other fingers, on the same hand. What this means is that you can take your thumb, and you can use it, to touch all of the other fingers on the same hand as your thumb. Having opposable thumbs makes it much easier for us to hold tightly onto objects, using our hands. Sure, we could hold onto objects without our thumbs. But having thumbs makes it much easier, and we can hold onto things much more tightly.
