Cardioids can be formed by graphing certain trig functions in polar coordinates. Umm lemme try to think of an example. Well here is what my book it telling me at least, \[\large r=a \pm bsin \theta, \qquad \qquad r=a \pm b \cos \theta\]These equations will form cardioids when \(\dfrac{a}{b} = 1\)
