suppose a runner completes a 10.0 km race in 41 minutes and 23 seconds. what is the runners speed in meters per second?

OpenStudy (zehanz):

My personal record is 41 minutes and 29 seconds... speed = distance / time If you want the speed in m/s, you need to give distance in meters and time in seconds. The distance is easy: 10000 m The time is 41*60+23 seconds. Divide the two and you get speed in m/s!
