4. What does the tree of life represent? (1 point) A. the current hypothesis of the evolutionary relationships between organisms B. the relationship between different taxa in the three domains based on DNA evidence C. the Linnaean relationships between kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species D. only the clades that include living organisms

OpenStudy (somegirl1999):

The Tree of Life was in the garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve ate from it, it gave them the power to live eternally. Which is why they weren't allowed to eat from it when they sinned. that way they wouldn't live eternally in sin and basically be screwed. It says in the bible that the Treee of Life will be in heaven. The only answer I can think of in that reference is that we'll live forever in happiness in heaven. Sorry if this doesn't help.

OpenStudy (somegirl1999):

Lol tht did not help did it ??? nope hold on lol

OpenStudy (zpupster):

The Tree of Life is a metaphor proposed by Charles Darwin to express the concept of phylogeny, the evolutionary relatedness among species through time. The modern development of this idea is called the Phylogenetic tree.
