The following table gives the percentage of sixth grade students who chose each kind of juice at lunchtime. Use the table to complete exercises 2-3. Grape Juice 15% Orange Juice 30% Fruit Punch 15% Apple Juice 40% 2. Use the table above. Find the measure of the central angle you would draw to represent apple juice in a circle graph. (1 point) 90° 54° 144° 30°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think of those percentages as parts of the entire circle. the entire circle measures 360 degrees.... so what is apple juice part of the entire circle?

OpenStudy (somegirl1999):

ummmm ..... i would be like a quarter right ?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

A full circle is 360 degrees. Take the percentage that corresponds to apple juice, and multiply it by 360. Remember to change the percentage into a decimal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no multiply 40 % by 360

OpenStudy (somegirl1999):

Ok tht would make it 144 is that right JuanitaM

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Yes, 144 degrees is correct

OpenStudy (somegirl1999):
