how do i simplify the square root of 28n squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it looks like sqrt(28n)^2, then the sqrt and the squared simply cancel each other out to leave 28n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it is sqrt(28n^2) then you can take an n out of the sqrt and take a 2 out of the 28 to get 2nsqrt7

28n I believe the square root and the square would cancel eachother out.
