write in equation in point-slope form the line through the point (10,-9) with the given slope -2

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Please reiterate the point-slope form. Present it here, for us.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

point-slope form should be y=mx+b the m is your slope, -2 then you just substitute the point (10, -9) into the equation. 10 is x, -9 is y. find your b, then have it in the form, y=mx+b NOTE: (m and b are values), (leave x and y as they are) for eg. y=2x+3 This is not the answer!
