Understand that I do..@skullpatrol I've been doing math though for 10 hours st8 today. i'm just not up to typing it all out
OpenStudy (anonymous):

that doesnt mean we will give away the answer ...if you are tired take rest and make fresh attempt later
OpenStudy (anonymous):
as in the question
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I can't.. It's like 3am right now :( I'm like basically done..I'm never asked for the answer i asked for help
OpenStudy (anonymous):
* I never :) Okay so plugging it in i got y=-3x + -2 ?

@Krispyhaha Okay ??? random lol!
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
$$y=-3x + (-2)$$ is not the POINT slope form; it is the slope INTERCEPT form. Do you see the difference?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh!! I see the difference!!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeah so not what do I do?? just subtract them?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
*now

i view this as a learning experience for everyone
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@Chelsea04 Ditto!! Highly agreed :)
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
No, do not just subtract them.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
uh huh, actually admittedly, when it said point-slope form, I thought it meant y=mx+b
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but now i see the difference

well - + - = @Chelsea04 me too
OpenStudy (anonymous):
- + - = ??
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
There are TWO different ways to express the idea of a line the "slope INTERCEPT" form, $$y=mx+b$$ and the "POINT slope" form $$y-y1 =m(x-x1)$$
