Hello.  Writing an op-ed piece.  When dbl spacing a doc, do I dbl-spc after a period before opening quotes for a quotation? ex: Blah blah blah.  "yada," says John.

Why don't you just put the whole thing on double space? I'm assuming you are using MLA format. Just change your settings on word (asuming you use word) to double spaced.

Hi, Tech. I like to know the correct (if there is one) way to do things. I've handwritten a piece and want to know what is considered correct (for this submission as well as general knowledge) for now and future writings.
