Escribe una lista de 4 "cognados falsos." (4 points)

The directions ask us to "write a list of four false cognates." A FALSE COGNATE is a pair of words, in two different languages, that look the same, but have totally different meanings. Here, I'll give you one example: English: ASSIST Spanish: ASISTIR We both know what "assist" means, in English. It means "help." But "asistir" doesn't mean "help," in Spanish. It actually means "to attend." Like "to attend a party." ~~~~~~~~~~~ Would you like to come up with another example?
