What may be produced with a genetic cross between two dissimilar individuals? A. clone. B. hybrid. C. recessive allele. D. gene mutation.
its a right @InYourHead
The word HYBRID means MIX or COMBINATION. When we take two organisms that are dissimilar, and we cross them, then their offspring is a HYBRID, because it is a MIXTURE of both of its parents' traits. Make sense?
For example, if my mom were WHITE, and my dad were BLACK, then I would be both BLACK AND WHITE. I would be a HYBRID of both of those traits.
this is amusing
yes it does thx alot so since both perents are mexican and im full mexican that is not a hybrid?
Yeah, that's right. As far as race goes, you would be a PURE-BRED.

You may have learned it in elementary school, I understand. When we take science classes later on, like in high school, and even college, the material repeats itself. And sometimes, we may not exactly remember vocab that we learned, from years before.
