Multiply 600 by 8 to get 4800 which is the area of the wall in sq. feet Then divide 600 by 12 to get 50 which is saying you have 50 sections of 12 feet of fence with a 2x2 window so multiply 50 by 4 to get 200 sq. feet of total window area. Subtract 200 from 4800 to get 4600 total sq. feet of fence to be painted. The paint will cover 250 sq. feet so divide 4600 by 250 to get 18.4 which rounds down to 18 gallons of paint.
