Read the nonsense poem "Flarkleri and Glikers." Rewrite it, replacing all the nonsense words with real words. Be sure to make the words that you insert match the part of speech and form of the nonsense word it replaces. For example, chumited is a verb in past tense; if using the verb ignore to replace chumite, write ignore in the past tense: ignored.

Flarkleri and Glikers The noctpreolds zunked and fotwaved to the beat. Glikers flashed, flarkleri flitted underfoot in the pumping darkened room. He sat oomly in the shadows and was chumited by the moving wifflers in their glimmering vestilles and their black fancifuts. Then a featherous girl, lanky and riverine, floated near. She had fawnblous eyes, and he thought, "My night has turned shimish; I will ask her to wiffle."
