I have the answer can someone just see if I'm right.
f(n)=3n^2-2 and g(n)= n+1
Find and simplify
f(n)g(n)

(3n^2-2)*(n+1) = 3n^3+3n^2-2n-2

I go that part but don't you have to go further to get 3n^3+n^3-2

you can't combine 3n^2-2n because they have different exponents
