OpenStudy (aripotta):

looks similar to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And....why?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

because their angles are the same. you can get all mathematical and find the distance of each side and prove they're proportional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah. Btw u did an excellent job drawing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, their angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, u mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6/4 and 9/6?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

just...do you need to answer why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, they're proportional. 6 x 6 = 36 9 x 4 = 36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it says, 'Are these triangles similar? Why?'

OpenStudy (aripotta):

well there you go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When u cross multiply the products r the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
