In triangle EFG, m

OpenStudy (raden):

hint : the sum of interior angles a triangle = 180 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think that helps me with this question.

OpenStudy (raden):

it means : m<E + m<f + m<G = 180 or 3x - 24 + 7x - 30 + 4x + 10 = 180 solve for x

OpenStudy (raden):

got it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I still don't know the answer to the question though :(

OpenStudy (raden):

well, i will help u to get x 3x - 24 + 7x - 30 + 4x + 10 = 180 14x - 44 = 180 14x = 180+44 14x = 224 x = 224/14 = 16

OpenStudy (raden):

now, u just put x=16 to the measures of M, F, and G what's the measure of them respectively

OpenStudy (raden):

after that, just compare that : "the biggest of the measure of them is the longest side"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the answer GE, EF, GF?

OpenStudy (raden):

let's check it ... E=3x-24=3(16)-24=48-24=24 F=7x-30=7(16)-30=112-30=82 G=4x+10=4(16)+10=64+10=74 |dw:1360290448649:dw|
