Hints: arc XZ = angle XOZ angles ZYX and XOZ add up to 180 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no im confused with which answer im using. am i using the 245-65=180 then 180 times 2. answer:360? or am i using the 245-65=180 then 1/2 times 180 answer:90?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or am i thinking wrong?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

first find angle XOZ

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

by solving this equation n + 65 = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

115

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you got it, that's equal to the measure of arc XZ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait..thats the answer?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah not too bad huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah haha. just these damn circles kill me mentalll

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
