Kind of lost here so need some help. 3' 4"+6"+8"+4"+5' 0"+6' 0"= <-- Add =14' 22" - 12" <-- adding from above - 12" =15' 10" <-- Answer Question how do you get the answer to be 15' 10" from 14' 22".

hartnn (hartnn):

what does 12" =... ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12" = 1 feet

hartnn (hartnn):

yes,12"=1' 14' 22" = 14' 12" 10" = 14' 1' 10" = (14+1)' 10"=...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 14' 22" = 15' 10" because if you take 12 from 22 you get 1' and you have 10 left so it becomes 15' 10"

hartnn (hartnn):

exactly!
