"Envy, be silent and attend!" is an example of a(n) ___ . apostrophe simile metaphor allusion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is a mixed metaphor. By definition in my "Rules for Writers" "the combination of two or more images that don't make sense together".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I just realized there aren't two or more sentences but I do believe it's some sort or metaphor. I am new here but thought I could try to help, denise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^Sorry but you are wrong. The answer is apostrophe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't mind being wrong, glad to be taught what is right;) I couldn't find anything on apostrophe, thank you much and I'm sure the OP will appreciate it:) denise

(: Glad to help, the only way i know this is because i missed this and the correct awnsr apostrophe. Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What throws me about it is I can't make sense of it, that's why I thought it might be a mixed metaphor, but that wasn't a choice;) Good job! I learn a lot from the questions I miss on tests, the hard way, lol;) denise
