Is there a minimum length for an APA style document?

I just read that it is usually assigned, by your instructor or editor (boss) and there.  I am reading in my "Rules For Writers" text by Diana Hacker.  I could not find any, specific "number" of minimum words though.  denise:) PS It does say that what is looked at is more about conciseness in your paper.

my question relates to writing essays of one page with in-line citeations and references I don't think APA applies to so short a document

So no one assigned a minimum length?  I can't find anything on it but I only checked my RFW so far.  I'm sorry I couldn't help you more.  Maybe a pro will drop in today:) denise:)
