Which of the following cannot be the probability of an event 1, 1/3, 3/5, 5/3
Let's think about it you can have a probabilities you can have: You can have a probability of a hundred percent, right? Like you could have an event that had a hundred percent probability of it happening, correct? So 1 -> 100% it totally possible. 1/3 is less than one so that works. 3/5 is less than one so that works. 5/3 however is giving you not only a hundred percent probability of something occurring, it's giving you MORE THAN a 100% chance of an event happening. Does that make sense? You cannot have more of a 100% chance. Therefore, 5/3 cannot be the probability of an event. I can give you actual examples if you need some more help understanding.
