inverse formula: b= k/a first you want to solve for k with the first set of data, then plug in k for the second set 8 = k/6 multiply by 8 to both sides k = 48 now plug this in b = 48/30 since it doesn't go evenly, I would just reduce divide 6 out of the top and bottom b = 8/5
