Drowning is suffocation. The liquid isn't what kills. The lack of oxygen is. So, you can drown in any amount of water as long as it's enough where you can't breathe. Unless, you're talking about how much water till the cells burst. I'm not sure how much water that is. But I think you mean drowning. If you don't die from the drowning, you can end up with a nasty lung infection but it's not really the water. Hope that answered your question c:
