What doest this phrase mean? “That’s a bright direction, There’s a glowing there.”

I would like to help if I can. I don't understand your question Brianna. Do you mean literally? Or, do you need to know what "type" of phrase it is? :) denise

well this is my essay prompt: At the end of the passage, Elisa whispers, “That’s a bright direction, There’s a glowing there.” Write an essay explaining what you think Elisa means by those words. Support your explanation using references from the story. and i just dont know what the phrase represents/means/symbolizes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, what do you think it means is all you need to write, your interpretation. And, you can read the other parts of the writing get some idea what Elisa is referring to. Does this help? Like say she is talking about passing from death maybe, like on Ghost Whisperer? Then you could say she is describing (you feel she is describing) what it is like. Does that make any sense? denise:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean, she is dying and she sees a light, sorry:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can form your opinion of what Elisa is saying in that sentence by reading the story and somewhere in that story, it should tell you what she means by the last sentence. I am sorry I am new to trying to help here. So many people have helped me I just want to pay-it-forward;)

ok thanks! that really does help

Oh cool!! Trust me, it helps me too, to retain all this stuff they cram into one term, LOL!! denise
