so you have advanced to trigonometry? (-:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i guess or im doing a mixture of stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know your trigonometric identities? Or a way how to remember them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really i just got this problem i dont really know what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SOH, CAH, TOA is a good place to start with usually (-: SOH stands for: \[\Large \sin \alpha = \frac{opp}{hyp} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Opposite, standing for the opposite site relative to the angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so where would i start to solve cause if it is sin then it would be sin=y/20 sqroot 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

perfect, just don't forget to apply the angle, you forgot that. And keep in mind, that as soon as you enter an angle to one of the trigonometric function, you immediately have a number/value, so it's no longer an unknown.

i gotta go i brb
