@PSI Which describes the American public's reaction to the Lend-Lease Act? The majority of Americans opposed the act because it did not dictate which countries could lease war supplies from the United States. Those in support of U.S. intervention in the war were infuriated because the act meant increased isolation for the country. The majority of Americans supported the act because it protected democratic principles around the world. Those opposed to U.S. intervention in the war were angered because it bypassed the country's policy of neutrality.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Certainty a tough one :S

OpenStudy (tainted):

:S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I completely understand Lend-Lease Act was, but I don't know what the public's reaction *to* it was.

OpenStudy (tainted):

Same here, reading around to try to find it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Learning experience for the both of us :P

OpenStudy (opcode):

The "Lend-Lease Act" was unpopular. I presume you can carry on from there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, yes, I found an answer. Thank you, Opcode :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Isolationists were strongly opposed, warning it would lead to American involvement in what was seen by most Americans as an essentially European conflict." Lets see which possible answer best fits this answer, shall we :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, we know its not A. and C., so lets look at B. and D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I would have to say its D., even though the wording looks slightly off to me.

OpenStudy (tainted):

I think it's D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct :) Learning experience for both of us

OpenStudy (opcode):

It's D. Those opposed to U.S. intervention in the war were angered because it bypassed the country's policy of neutrality. Don't forget Washington didn't want to be involved in other countries affairs. So people thought why now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't forget Washington didn't want to be involved in other countries affairs. Lets not forget the Neutrality Act :) Thank you, Opcode :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Medals for everyone :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yesss thank youu! I having a hard time on this one too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those opposed to U.S. intervention in the war were angered because it bypassed the country's policy of neutrality. <---correct
